Greetings from Nairobi, Kenya!

We are excited to announce our upcoming series of major events and actions planned for 2026, and we would love for you to be a part of it. We invite you to join us for the launch of a month-long discussion series titled “The ART of Community Conversation.” The series will kick off with Jamey Ponte, affectionately known as ‘Babu’. Babu is a respected figure and the co-founder of the Kibera Arts District, HOF Gallery, and House of Friends Kenya, as well as a passionate global ‘Artivist’ deeply rooted in the landscape of Kenyan activism.

You are cordially invited to join us at HOF Gallery Kibera on Saturday, January 10th, at 2:00 PM.

During this event, you’ll gain insight into our work and the reasons behind our initiatives. You’ll also be introduced to significant new efforts planned for 2026, and learn how you can contribute to nurturing and expanding the East African Arts Community. We believe your participation will be valuable as we explore what ‘Community-Based Art’ truly represents.
